It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

We won the battle!!!

Mood: Triumph

Yes! It's finally over! Turns out Mim's powerful evil witch mother Esmerei was the one behind everything! She had lots of people under her control, including her own daughter Mim and even Yen Sid! Esmerei made Mim's life miserable from the beginning so that Mim would become evil and delve too deep into the black magic, so then Esmerei could possess her own daughter to take over the world! How sick and twisted is that!?!? After she left Mim's body, Mim was very weak and dying, but Dad encouraged her and she pulled through and helped us defeat Esmerei! Yen Sid used his magic to help us fix the town and now everything's back to normal, and Dad's spirit isn't going to fade!

And the most surprising part is Mim has turned good and she and Merlin are together again!
